About Us
Welcome to the Flock.
If you believe patience pays off, not the loudest voice… you're already one of us.
We live in a world that moves fast. Fast food, fast answers, fast fashion. But if you're the kind of person who would rather watch a chickadee work a sunflower seed than scroll through one more feed, or spend a quiet hour flipping through a field guide by the window, you already know what most people are still trying to figure out.
Real things take time.
How We Took Flight
Hi, I'm Sarah. My husband and I started Bird Nerds for a simple reason: we wanted clothes that actually meant something to us.
We wanted tees that celebrated the small wins: the first hummingbird returning to the feeder, the binocular tan line after a long Sunday outdoors, the warbler that finally lands on the branch you've been watching, the rush of spotting a lifer you'd waited years to see.
We wanted tees that felt like home. Soft, comfy, made for real life. But everything we found felt cheap and forgettable.
So we made our own.
Turns out, we weren't the only ones looking.
More Than Just a T-Shirt
We didn't just want to make clothes; we wanted to create a uniform for the people who understand that paying attention to something (or someone) is the most rewarding work you can do.
When you wear Bird Nerds, you aren't just putting on a shirt. You are wearing your values. You are signaling to the world that you've ditched the "churn and burn" of fast fashion for something slower, kinder, and more intentional.
- Rooted in Quality: We use 100% ring-spun cotton that gets softer with every wash.
- Grown in the USA: We print our tees right here in Florida and Texas, supporting local printers.
- Earth-Kind: We believe in slow growth, not fast waste.
Find Your People
Have you ever worn a shirt and had a stranger smile and say, "I saw a cardinal too!" or "Are those goldfinches on your shirt?" That's what this is about. It's about attracting your people.
Whether you've been birding for years or you put up your first feeder last weekend, you belong here.
Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for flying with us.
